Today was our day of full meetings before school starts on Monday

August 26th.

We discussed curriculum.  Our district worked very hard to create our curriculum this summer.

Katie was a member of the council that worked part of their summer.

What a great job they did.  Congratulations to the entire council!!

We have Meet the Teacher Night tomorrow night!!

Lots to do tomorrow!

Just a quick unit for Alphabet Review to start the year.

Then of course we do a more thorough study of the sounds of letters in the weeks to follow.

I know everyone is busy.

Some of you have started with kids

and some are getting ready for school

to start!

This is the time of year I don't know

which way to turn or what to do first!!

We have finished a short color pack!

It helps with color word retention and 

recognizing things that are those colors!

met 65 sweet new kindergartners

this week during KinderCamp!

to get rid of the first day Jitters!

I did go to my classroom this morning

and Whew!!! It was 92 degrees at

7:45 am.  Thank you to my thoughtful husband

for helping me get the heavy stuff moved before he

went to work this morning!

I worked until 9:30 then went to

Wally World for some cleaning supplies.

Everything will need to be dusted really 

good as I finish putting the materials up.
